In conventional lasik, the surgeon depends on the patient’s glass prescription and hence each patient has a different parameter. Conventional laser comes with the risk of aberrations like glare, halos and night vision, though such cases are rare.

Your employers must be kept informed and only on obtaining their clearance, you should undergo this surgery. Further, you should have had a stable vision all through. If you suffer from advanced autoimmune diseases like lupus or rheumatoid arthritis, you should not opt for lasik surgery. If you have a decreased corneal strength resulting in a disease called keratoconus, then also, you can not risk opting for lasik surgery.
